This website has been developed and is maintained by the National Grain and Feed Association (NGFA) and Grain Elevator and Processing Society (GEAPS) to provide bioterrorism- and facility security-related information relevant to the grain-handling, feed manufacturing, grain processing, and grain export elevator sectors.

Security Alerts and Notices
Click here for any non-classified U.S. government and advisories that may be issued from time-to-time by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security that are specific to grain elevators, feed mills, corn and soybean processing plants, flour mills, and grain export facilities. This section also contains the "Daily Open Source Infrastructure Security Reports" issued by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, which typically include sections on agriculture and transportation. Presidential Homeland Security Directives are also available here.
Federal Government Security Regulatory Requirements
Click here for information on federal security-related regulations that apply to grain-handling, feed manufacturing, grain processing, and export operations. Included are requirements issued by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), U.S. Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), U.S. Coast Guard and U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT). This section also contains the text of the Bioterrorism Act of 2002 and the Maritime Transportation Security Act of 2002 passed by Congress that mandated security requirements implemented by federal agencies. Also provided are hyperlinks to other important federal government security web sites.
