As communicated previously, based upon the latest public health information available about COVID-19 as of today, including from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), as well as after consulting with the NGFA officers today, NGFA is proceeding with its 124th annual convention on March 8-10 at the JW Marriott Hotel in Austin Texas. The health and safety of NGFA members is of paramount importance.
NGFA has experienced some attrition in its registration numbers, resulting mostly from blanket corporate policies being implemented by several member companies that have banned both international and domestic travel for the time being. NGFA certainly acknowledges and respects their decision to do so based upon their company-specific situations and circumstances.
However, I wanted to advise that as of today, there still is a critical mass of NGFA members registered and planning to attend – more than 500 principal registrants from NGFA-member companies. When combined with spouse, guest and other registrants, the projected total attendance as of today still is expected to be nearly 600, even after accounting for the cancellations we’ve received.

JW Marriott Extending Early Registration Hotel Rate to Late Registrants
In response to additional late registrations NGFA continues to receive since the early bird hotel rate cut-off, the JW Marriott has agreed to extend the early bird hotel rate to all NGFA registrants. Members who have registered since the cut-off can access the early bird hotel rate by clicking on the hotel link sent when you registered. Please contact NGFA Vice President Rebecca Grubbs at firstname.lastname@example.org if you experience any difficulties doing so.
Look Forward to Seeing You in Austin!
We look forward to seeing you in Austin. For companies that have implemented travel restrictions this year, we look forward to welcoming you to the Hotel Del Coronado for NGFA’s celebratory 125th annual convention on March 14-16 in San Diego, Calif.
