Registration is open for the biennial NGFA Trading, Trade Rules and Dispute Resolution seminar, which is slated for May 4-5 in St. Louis.
Given that the seminar in recent years has sold out quickly, NGFA strongly recommends registering soon. The early-bird registration rate of $265 for members is available until March 20.
The program, designed for those involved in trading operations or responsible for merchandising grains, feed and feed ingredients, includes sessions on trade rules application, commercial and producer contracting, laws and standard applicable to grain and feed transactions, and avoiding disputes and use of arbitration when necessary. The seminar includes extensive case studies and offers numerous networking opportunities with expert faculty and industry leaders.
In addition to obtaining a working knowledge of trade and contracting matters, and extensive course materials for future reference, participants conclude the seminar with a competency test.
