After receiving its largest batch of nominations to date, the NGFA has selected its next class of participants in the NGFA’s Committee Apprenticeship Program (CAP). Thanks to all who applied!
The NGFA’s convention on March 17-19 marks the official kick-off of the 2019-2020 CAP year. Given the success of the program, NGFA is creating a CAP Alumni Association and will be hosting its first CAP Alumni Reception during the 123rd Annual Convention in Amelia Island.
A limited number of apprentice positions are available in the program, which is designed to help develop future leaders within the industry and the NGFA. In addition to participating in their committees’ activities, CAPs gather in Washington, D.C. each year for the “CAP DC Experience.” This visit combines Capitol Hill and foreign embassy visits with the chance to dig deep into their committees’ issues with NGFA committee staff liaisons and network with fellow CAPs.
