The NGFA has selected its next class of participants in its unique Committee Apprentice Program (CAP). Thanks to all who applied! The NGFA’s 124th annual convention on March 7-10 marks the official kick-off of the 2020-2021 CAP year.
A limited number of apprentice positions are available each year for the program, which is designed to help develop future leaders within the industry and the NGFA. In addition to participating in their committees’ activities, CAPs gather in Washington, D.C. each year for the “CAP DC Experience.” This visit combines Capitol Hill visits with members of Congress and their staffs with the chance to dig into their committees’ issues with NGFA committee staff liaisons and network with fellow CAPs.

CAP Alumni Network Forum at 2020 Annual Convention
If you are a CAP alum attending the convention, join us for the first CAP Alumni Network (CAPAN) Forum on Sunday, March 8 at 11 a.m. This is an opportunity for every current and past CAP participant to weigh in on the direction NGFA takes in 2020 in terms of online education, in-person meeting topics, research articles, etc. Your opinions are incredibly important to NGFA and will contribute to the association’s plans for the upcoming year. Forum attendance strongly encouraged and appreciated, but not mandatory. And it’s a great way to network with fellow and former CAPs! Please contact Rebecca Grubbs at email@example.com with any questions.
