CAP is designed to develop future leaders within the industry and the NGFA by allowing early-career professionals to become apprenticed to an NGFA committee. Preference is given to employees of active NGFA member firms with at least five but less than 10 years of industry experience. Once appointed, apprentices participate fully in all committee activities, including meetings, conference calls and email exchanges. More than 180 professionals have participated in NGFA’s CAP since 2014!

CAPs will attend the upcoming NGFA events:
• 128th annual convention on March 17-19, 2024, in Orlando, Fla.
• 2024 Summer Legislative Fly-In/CAP DC Experience on June 3-5 in Washington, D.C.
• CEC 2024 on Dec. 10-12 in Kansas City, Mo.
• 129th annual convention on March 9-11, 2025, in Carlsbad, Calif.
• Additional committee-specific meetings may be scheduled throughout the year.
