Grain Trade Rules Course

This course familiarizes participants with NGFA’s Grain Trade Rules, providing practical guidance through rule outlines, arbitration summaries, and committee insights. A copy of the Grain Trade Rules is needed during the course.​

Barge Digital Transformation (BDT) Training

In partnership with NGFDS, NGFA offers training on the BDT platform, which digitizes barge trading documents like bills of lading. Training includes platform overviews and session recordings.​

Preventive Controls for Animal Food Course

Co-hosted with Kansas State University, this FDA-recognized course covers:

  • Applicability of the Preventive Controls for Animal Food rule
  • Current Good Manufacturing Practices
  • Developing a food safety plan, including hazard analysis and preventive controls

Participants earn Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI) and HACCP training certificates. Upcoming sessions:

These resources support NGFA’s commitment to promoting safety and health in the workplace. Some of the content has been funded by the National Grain and Feed Foundation.

Leadership Development

People Spark Leadership Transformation Program®

In collaboration with People Spark Consulting, NGFA offers a year-long leadership development program focusing on practical application of leadership skills. The program includes an 8-week intensive training followed by 10 months of ongoing support. NGFA members receive a bonus private coaching session.
